		<description>I did it this way so that everything was in the one place for the logger - this way it was a pluggable solution without putting log related stuff everywhere.

I guess it&#039;s just *my way* of doing things.. I put system/platform/Rails stuff in the config files and other related stuff in separate sections of 1 config file so that all of the (say, payment gateway configuration) is in the one spot.</description>

Shouldn&#039;t the logger levels in the different environments and which outputters are enabled be specified in the yaml file?
I ask because you may have had some reason to do it this way...
